A TV licence phishing scam has driven over 5,000 complaints
Action Fraud stated that 5,057 people have complained about the phishing attempt in the last three months
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting for a Cyber Crime Advisor. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 2 Cyber Crime Advisors whose posts are funded by the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner on a fixed term basis. The post is based in the County Council’s Community Safety Team which manages a range of projects aimed at reducing crime and disorder and coordinates countywide partnership work on priority issues including hate crime, domestic abuse and reducing re-offending.
