Apex Legends app download site tricks players with dodgy mobile version of the game
Cyber security discovered the first malicious app for the record-breaking video game, which is yet to be released on Android or IOS devices.
Fraudsters are impersonating Police officers and targeting the elderly/vulnerable.
Fraudsters are targeting the elderly/vulnerable posing as Police officers, stating that there has been fraudelent activity on their accounts and instructing victims to withdraw or transfer large amounts of money which they would then arrange to come and collect.
The Police will never phone up and ask you to transfer money to another account, withdraw money or ask for any of your bank details and PIN.
